RAGT is a French seed breeding company based in Rodez, near Toulouse. It operates four breeding sites in Germany and has a successful trading business. The company offers a diverse portfolio of crops and occupies a leading position in the cereals sector on the European market.

We are looking for an experienced manager for our field trial team at our location in Saxony-Anhalt, Silstedt near Wernigerode, starting January 1, 2026.

Your main tasks :

• Leadership of the technical team and station management
• Planning and implementation of field trials
• Responsibility of the relationship with partners and subcontractors
• Business trips within Germany and Europe
• Collaboration with local farmers and service providers
• Support of projects to optimize field research (e.g. GPS, phenotypage tools)
• Data analysis and database management.
• Representation of RAGT to official institutes

• engineer in agricultural sciences
• several years of experience in research/breeding
• expertise in experimental design and evaluation
• good knowledge of the use of statistical software and databases
• very good knowledge of German
• fluent English
• strong organizational skills and willingness to travel
• a high level of communication and social skills
