RAGT is a French seed breeding company based in Rodez, near Toulouse. It operates four breeding sites in Germany and has a successful trading business. The company offers a diverse portfolio of crops and occupies a leading position in the cereals sector on the European market.

Your main tasks

·         Leadership of the technical team (4 people)

·         Planning and implementation of field trials

·         Technical relationship with partners and subcontractors

·         Business trips within Germany (and neighbouring countries)

·         Collaboration with local farmers and service providers

·         Support of projects to optimize field research (e.g. GPS, phenotypage tools)

·         (Data analysis and database management)

·         (Representation of RAGT to official institutes)

• Your profile

  ·         Technician in agricultural sciences

  ·         several years of experience in research/breeding

  ·         expertise in experimental design and evaluation

  ·         good knowledge of the use of statistical software and databases

  ·         very good knowledge of German

  ·         fluent English

  ·         strong organizational skills and willingness to travel

  ·         a high level of communication and social skills

  ·         field work

  ·         trial notations

  ·         farming skills (driving, sowing, harvest)
